- Final v4 + v8's Lithium X and Solar 360 Accessibility100/100Finalised v4's theme and hero, with v8's newly-launched Lithium X chapter and Solar 360 chapter in place of v4's own. The three concepts below are unchanged — open v4 to see the two sections this replaces.
- Final B The same page, in Livguard.com's own words Accessibility100/100 Content A/B /final's design with the live site's content dropped into it: the four real customer testimonials word for word, their twelve homepage FAQs, their CSR fields, their footer information architecture with working links, and their service promise. Sourced from livguard.com's own content dictionary, not from reading the page. Nothing here is our invention except the phrasing of the FAQ answers — and one misspelling, corrected, in Rohit Singh's testimonial.
- Lithium Lithium X One — the finalised page Finalised Built on v2's shell — the annotated cutaway, the spec bar, charging drawn against a night — with the sections agreed in the 9 Sep review composed in from both variants. The two concepts below stay exactly as they were reviewed, so you can still see what each section replaced.
- Solar Solar 360 — the finalised page In progress Built on v2's shell — the five Solar 360 pillars, one worked house deciding between the three systems, the warranty part by part — wearing the finalised home page's header and footer. From v1: the hero, centred, with the bill picker in it instead of a rotator, and the PM Surya Ghar subsidy chapter, moved onto charcoal with the money drawn as a deduction. v1 and v2 stay as they were.
Spec & variations
The production specification, and the live options still being chosen between
- Spec Imagery, banners and icons — production specification For the design team Every dimension measured off the finalised builds rather than estimated: the homepage's eleven image slots, the Lithium page's four and the Solar page's seven, grouped by page, each with its framing note, its safe areas and what has been rejected in that slot before. Plus the shared tonal rules, the five icons and the copy limits the layout is built around.
- Var Section variants — bar, testimonials, press Accessibility100/100Deciding The finalised page above with the announcement bar and the testimonials section in four options each, plus a switch that drops each customer's existing video into whichever layout is showing, and a new press block in three options. Your choice stays in the address bar, so a link can carry one exact combination.
- Lithium v1 Lithium X One — “the switch” Accessibility100/100Category The third category page on the same shell, deliberately the darkest of the three: this is the product the brand treats as its news, so it runs dark and technical where solar runs light and warm. Replacement-led: it opens on “still topping up water”, flips between the battery you run today and this one, and closes on a ten-year replacement count. Real prices and the official eleven-parameter spec comparison.
- Lithium v2 Lithium X One — “the engineering” Accessibility100/100Compare The same product argued from the object instead of the bill. It opens INSIDE the battery on an annotated cutaway you can interrogate — five parts, click or arrow-key — then charging drawn against a night, physical size against the battery it replaces, and a five-year capacity-retention chart. No cost timeline and no spec table: those belong to v1.
- Solar v1 Rooftop solar — “the bill” Accessibility100/100Compare Where /final's solar chapter now lands. Savings-led: what a roof your size actually needs, what PM Surya Ghar pays, and which of the three systems fits. Carries a mobile sticky CTA — the one difference under test between the two. Four primary CTAs, and the lead form is a single quiet band low on the page rather than the point of it.
- Solar v2 Rooftop solar — “the job” Accessibility100/100Compare The same content, argued the other way. Process-led: a sticky Solar 360 chapter, the four steps as a long-form run, three stacked system chapters, and a warranty table that resolves the five different warranty numbers the live site publishes. No sticky bar, three primary CTAs. Shares v1's design system verbatim.
Earlier directions
The concepts the finalised build came from. Kept so a decision can be re-read, not to be chosen from
- v8 The Blade Accessibility90/100Shortlist Every long edge of the Livguard bolt runs at the same 0.4 slope, and that one angle becomes the page's form language. Solar 360 content, the sunburst accent, and a testimonial slider showing three at once.
- v6 Engineered Accessibility80/100Shortlist Almost no photography. Authored blueprint hero, drawn charts and icons, a coverage field built from hexes.
- v4 Photo-led Accessibility70/100Shortlist Four-slide hero slider with arrows and counter, matched to the client's figma.site concept.
Measured, not estimated — accessibility on all 10 concepts, the rest on /final, /final-b, /solar-v1, /solar-v2, /lithium-v1, /lithium-v2
7 of the 10 concepts score 100 — Home, Home · site copy, Solar v1, Solar v2, Lithium v1, Lithium v2, Variants. Outstanding: v8 90 (region, contrast); v6 80 (heading-order, region, target-size, contrast); v4 70 (button-name, heading-order, region, target-size, contrast). A page starts at 100 and loses the weight of each failed audit — critical 10, serious 7, moderate 3 — once per audit rather than once per failing element, so the figure counts defects to fix. Behind it: axe-core WCAG 2.2 AA at 3 widths × 2 motion states, plus 5,075 text runs pixel-sampled against the photograph actually behind them. Not a Lighthouse run — Lighthouse reads declared backgrounds and cannot see through a photographic scrim — and there has been no manual screen-reader, Windows High Contrast or 400% zoom pass. This is the floor, not a certificate.

Title, description, canonical, Open Graph, lang and viewport. This measures head completeness, not searchability — the review build stays noindex by design, and sitemap and robots.txt are production concerns.

Every token on :root is enumerated from the stylesheet and compared by computed value — palette, type scale, spacing scale, radius, measure and easing. Not applied to v4, v6 or v8: those are separate directions by design.
Outstanding: Grey and charcoal dominate over white and black. The full list is in the project's anti-template checklist; nothing is excluded from the denominator.

Internal review only. Testimonial wording is placeholder — the names come from livguard.com, the quotes do not. Imagery is taken from the official banners and livguard.com and served from this site, not hotlinked.
Product claims are checked against the verified-facts list in brand/GUIDELINES.md §6. Five hero figures failed that check and were replaced with sanctioned ones — including “10-year lifespan”, which the guidelines name as an earlier fabrication and correct to an 8-year warranty against Livguard’s own banner, and a 70% bill reduction that contradicted the same page’s 90% figure. If “#1 trusted brand” and the family count are real Livguard marketing, they can go back once brand confirms them and adds them to §6.
Open, and not ours to close. The palette rule says grey and charcoal must
dominate; four rounds of review pushed these pages the other way, so they measure
white-and-black heavy. That is logged as question 9 in the guidelines and needs a brand
ruling. Three backdrop-filter surfaces are accepted as sticky bars and
controls rather than glass cards. Accessibility figures cover the tests that were run:
there has been no manual screen-reader pass, no Windows High Contrast pass and no true
400% zoom test.
